If you are new to CCF in the last 6 months, we want to invite you to join us for lunch following the service on Sunday, September 25th. This will be a great time to meet the staff, leaders and others who are new to CCF and find out ways to get connected. We will have childcare for ages 0-5.
On Sunday, October 9th from 6:30-7:30 pm, we will be having a pie “social” and a time for hymn singing in the main worship center. This will be potluck style so make sure to bring a pie to share! Please invite friends and family to join in!
- More than a Children’s Story…
Do you ever wonder if there is more going on in the common bible stories we learned as children? We will examine the stories of the Good Samaritan, David and Goliath, Joseph, and the like, through a gospel lens to gain a deeper knowledge of the work of Christ. (Teacher: Taylor Faught)
- Being a Christian in an Election Year
Election news and commentary is all around us, and it’s often hard to figure out how to think about the candidates and issues, and how our faith might influence our actions. This class will explore Scripture to help address such issues as: What is the role of government and our leaders? How should Christians decide which issues are most important to support? How should we interact with people who disagree with us (both Christian and non-Christian)? How should Christians thinking about changing cultural values? This will be a very interactive class that will give everyone an opportunity to speak honestly and listen graciously, no matter who you’re thinking of voting for! (Teacher: Rod Reed)
- Financial Peace University
Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is a proven, well-planned way to become debt free. Our 9am hour will offer sessions from this curriculum for only $100 per couple! If you are interested in registering, please email email@example.com. (Teacher: Bob Sivils)
